This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise and sales skill to promote and sell Verantis’ Industrial Equipment and other products. The Sales Account Manager will serve as the primary interface between the company and its outside sales representatives, consultants, customers and potential customers for both aftermarket and fan sales.

 Qualified candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred; other degrees will be considered if accompanied by relevant experience.

  • 3–5 years’ sales and/or business experience in related field; air pollution control/industrial equipment or related are preferred.

  • Computer efficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to utilize CRM software.

  • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

 Primary responsibilities:

  • Win orders and work collaboratively with sales and the global business to promote growth.

  • Apply consultative selling techniques to accurately assess customer needs and the competitive landscape for each opportunity, tailoring pricing and approach to secure a maximum amount of orders while maintaining corporate profitability targets.

  • Gather market intelligence and understanding of Verantis’ competitive standing on proposals proactively, including won/lost reasons, providing feedback to the sales team.

  • Utilize Verantis’ CRM system to manage effective follow-up and data capture.

  • Generate high quality proposals and other customer responses within agreed upon deadlines.

  • Provide technical expertise to customers, manufacturer’s representatives and engineering organizations to assist in the proper selection and differentiation of Verantis equipment.

  • Primary responsibility for proposal-level design work including industrial fan selection.

  • Accurately estimate costs including engineering, buy-out, and in-house manufactured items.

  • Interpret contract terms and negotiate with clients to appropriately manage risk.

  • Communicate Verantis commitments to customers and the project team internally effectively.


  • Travel as required to provide sales support to clients and the manufacturer’s representative network and to support business development efforts.

  • This position is expected to interact effectively with the outside representative network and take on partial representative network management responsibilities over time.

Verantis is seeking highly motivated individuals who possess a willingness to work and learn the craftsmanship necessary to build high performance industrial fiberglass fans. We offer a complete training program within the first year of employment with the opportunity to advance as more experience is gained and techniques are perfected.  This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, non-exempt, Union position with occasional overtime as business requirements demand. Duties include working with fiberglass resin and mat, grinding fiberglass parts, and learning how to perform fiberglass fabrication.

 Qualified candidates must:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED

  • Be able to follow instructions carefully, which may require basic reading skills and the ability to follow diagrams and pictures

  • Have manual dexterity and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks methodically

  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Maintain good attendance

 A plus if candidates have:

  • Fiberglass lamination experience

  • Experience using standard machine shop equipment and tools

  • A welding experience/certificate

  • Computer experience
