Verantis Announces Key Organizational Changes to Further Growth and Development
Strongsville, Ohio - Aug. 29, 2008 - Verantis announces the retirement of Larry Hein as President. During his tenure as President, Hein has been responsible for effectively positioning Verantis as a global competitor in the worldwide air pollution control industry and strengthened global operations through partnerships and communication while increasing market presence throughout the world. His dedication to attract talented leaders to the company and create a culture of dedication, communication, and hard work forms the foundation from which Verantis will continue to grow and develop into the future.
The following organizational changes and development of Executive Leadership Team coincides with the retirement of current President.
Lars Buttkus will succeed Hein as President - Verantis. With the reorganization of executive management, Lars will be responsible for Verantis global activities and will lead the newly created Leadership Team with the purpose of ensuring corporate strategic plans and tactics are formulated and implemented to respond to dynamic global and market changes. He will report directly to the Board of Directors.
John Tonkewicz has been appointed as Senior Vice President and Global Technical Director - Verantis. John will retain responsibility for the company's technical product development and continue to coordinate with global operations and interact directly with customers throughout the world to ensure successful growth in the global marketplace.
Tom Dayton has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Verantis and President of Verantis Asian Subsidiaries. Tom's primary responsibilities remain with the continued growth and activities in the Asian market with expansion to maximize global profitability and customer satisfaction.
Jim McIntosh has been named Senior Vice President - Finance and Administration of Verantis. Jim will continue to coordinate the global financial and administrative requirements of the company and support senior management members with financial and strategic information necessary to manage the continued growth and development of Verantis global operations.
All three appointed Senior Vice Presidents will report directly to Verantis President Lars Buttkus.
