The stand-by emergency scrubber for potential release of toxic gases
Many operations require stand-by emergency scrubbers for potential release of toxic gases. Verantis offers a wide variety of packaged designs for control of chlorine, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, phosgene, and other gases. The units typically consist of an eductor venturi, packed tower, or both mounted on a chemical storage tank. The tank is designed to hold sufficient chemical solution to absorb and neutralize an instantaneous release of toxic gas at a very high inlet concentration. Design efficiencies as high as 99.995% are available.
Emergency Scrubber Features:
- Designed for specific gas type and release rate.
- Sump tank holds sufficient chemical for neutralization.
- Automatically start-up based on gas sensor input.
- Very high removal efficiency to meet Uniform Fire Codes.
- All components made of corrosion resistant materials.
