Efficient, Low-Maintenance Gas Cleaning Systems

Control industrial emissions—without saturating your flue gas—with Verantis® Dry Scrubbers. Operating with minimal to no added moisture, these systems eliminate stack steam plumes and avoid complex wastewater handling. Ideal for removing acid gases such as SO₂ and HCl, dry scrubbing helps maintain regulatory compliance while simplifying operations. Backed by Verantis project expertise and aftermarket service, these scrubbers deliver long-term reliability and operational confidence.

How Dry Scrubbers Work

Dry scrubbing systems combine finely sprayed absorbents with flue gases inside a vessel. The resulting sorbent is then captured by scrubber media, commonly a baghouse, which removes pollutants through chemical reactions and electrostatic adhesion. This two-part system – the scrubber and scrubber media – delivers maximum removal efficiency for acid gases, heavy metals, and other pollutants.

Industries and Applications for Dry Scrubbers

Dry scrubbers are ideal for industries that need to:

  • Remove acid gases from combustion sources
  • Reduce odors in exhaust streams
  • Capture particulate matter and recover valuable byproducts
